About
Welcome to Living In Transit, a place where we are dedicated to learning everything there is to know about long-term travel, and sharing it all with the world. It is a place for us to cultivate our passion for travel, writing and photography in a way that is educational and enlightening for anybody who happens to stop by and take a look.
In October, 2010, Jen and I will be taking a train from NYC to California, stopping in Chicago and Denver. By the end of the month we will be flying out of San Francisco, CA to Bangkok, Thailand to start our global adventure and experiment in long-term world travel.
During weekdays we will be providing location-specific travel tips, random inspirations, general observations, questions and answers.
Every weekend we will be posting our Weekend Update, providing you with our current situation, where we are, what we’ve been doing over the previous week and what our plans are for the following week. The Weekend Update will also feature our Dirty Dozen photo gallery (twelve new photographs each week with a different theme) and our Best Of The Web section, pointing out some of the great travel bloggers and their latest wanderings and musings.
For those of you who don’t know where to start, allow me to point you in the right direction:
